Jolien Veraart

Dr. Jolien Veraart is a psychiatrist at the Expert Center for Difficult-to-Treat Depression within PsyQ/Parnassia Group in The Hague, the Netherlands. She has expertise in advanced interventions for severe depression, including specialized pharmacotherapy, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and esketamine treatment. In addition, she is a senior researcher at the University Center for Psychiatry of the University Medical Center Groningen, where she obtained her PhD (cum laude) on the clinical application of ketamine for depression. As an active member of several national research networks, she contributes to the development and implementation of innovative treatments for TRD.
