Mark Cornfield

Mark Cornfield, a Canadian psychiatrist recently retired from clinical practice, continues to teach and mentor in the world of ketamine.  His community-based psychiatry practice was psychotherapy-oriented and facilitated by training in EMDR and Imago Relationship Therapy.  His familiarity with working in non-ordinary states began with participation, and  eventually training, in Holotropic Breathwork.  Along with his life  partner, Susan McBride, he has been offering ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to both individuals and couples since 2018.  Together Mark and Susan facilitate five day residential “Ketamine Learning Experiences” offering healthcare professionals a didactic and experiential ketamine training.  In May 2024 their paper describing  ketamine assisted group couples therapy appeared in the Journal of Psychedelic Studies.
