Clínica Synaptica is organising the first training seminar on psilocybin-assisted therapy in Spain, an event aimed at mental health professionals who want to explore firsthand the scientific evidence and clinical foundations of this promising therapeutic modality. Over three days, experts in the psychedelic field will share their knowledge in a format that combines keynote presentations with open debate and Q&A sessions.
The event will take place at Sala Àgora (C/ Martín de Vargas, 23) in Madrid, starting on the afternoon of Friday 20th November and concluding on Sunday 22nd at midday. All lectures will be in Spanish.

Speakers
José Carlos Bouso
Degree in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid and PhD in Pharmacology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Researcher and author of numerous scientific publications and outreach articles. Author of the recently published book Psychedelic Medicine, among others. He has been studying the therapeutic potential of hallucinogens and their possible clinical applications for over two decades. Scientific Director of Clínica Synaptica.
Marc Aixalà
Marc Aixalà is a psychologist specialising in Integrative Psychotherapy and Brief Strategic Therapy, with training in the therapeutic use of non-ordinary states of consciousness and the use of MDMA for PTSD. He is a lecturer in the Integration training programme at ICEERS Academy and a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator. Marc has extensive experience in psychedelic integration through his work in clinical research and professional training.
Débora González
Degree in Psychology, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and PhD in Pharmacology, specialising in the treatment of prolonged grief from a constructivist psychotherapy approach. She is currently part of the clinical team at Clínica Synaptica, where she combines clinical practice with scientific research and teaching. Over the past decade, her work has focused on studying the therapeutic potential of psychedelic substances in grief processes following the loss of a loved one, as well as their capacity to promote post-traumatic growth.
Irene de Caso
Biology graduate. MSc and PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging. Author of the book Psychedelics and Mental Health. Co-founder of the Inawe Foundation. President of the cultural association Mycelia. Clinical trials coordinator at the Hospital Provincial de Zamora and mindfulness instructor.
Marta Martín
Psychologist and Neuropsychologist working in the clinical practice of psychedelic integration and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, somatic therapy and existential psychotherapy, she is part of the clinical and research team at Clínica Synaptica.
